Jac is a seasoned, 15-year-old gelding with the athleticism, consistency, and mindset to win. He’s a solid 2D open barrel horse, a proven AAA gymkhana horse with the potential to push faster. While he can get a little excited at the gate, he will willingly go forward to make his run. Not a barrel knocker. Has done mounted shooting and shows great potential.
He’s very sweet, responsive, and loves to please. Not for beginners.
Jac will carry a flag, allow you to stand on his back, flip off the side of the saddle. Goes bareback and rides double. He doesn’t spoke and will run in any arena regardless of what it looks like. Goes down the trail and through water no problem.
Training & Skills:
• Side passes at walk, trot, and lope
• Pivots on forehand and hindquarters
• Counter canter and flying lead changes
• Canters in a circle almost in place.
• great on barrels, poles & other speed events
• Potential to excel in Western Dressage or dressage in general
• goes on trail
* Packs my 6 year old through barrels in the peewee class
• Clips, bathes, and trailers without issue (can paw when tied if nervous)
• good for the farrier
• No stall vices
• Gets along great with other horses
