Seeking the perfect home, a sweet-souled mare who deserves the right partner. I bought her in November, hoping for a laid-back trail and arena horse for casual (2-3 times/week) rides. However, our styles aren't a match. Annie thrives on more consistent and engaging work and would be best suited for an advanced beginner working with a trainer or an intermediate rider. When I purchased her in November, she had only been under saddle with exposure to one rider for less than 18 months. She has no history of abuse, neglect, or harsh training. However, she is still a young horse who looks to her rider for confidence when she's unsure. On the ground, Annie is an absolute gem with a kind nature and no 'marish' behavior. She prefers her 1 person to bond with. She can: w/t/c on command, take correct leads, stop and back softly, rope and drag items, carry a flag, cross water, move head - neck - and hindquarters independently, great w picking up her feet, no bite, no kick, no buck, no rear, EXCELLENT QUIET MIND. With some consistency and a little more time under the saddle, she is going to be an amazing partner. Due to her sensitive nature and lack of rider exposure, I would prefer her not to be sold as a kids horse. 6 years old, 13.3/14hh, grade (broke at 4 years old) Located in Santa Clarita.
