If you are looking for a trail machine this is your guy! Copper loves to hit the trails, shies away from NOTHING. Will go through any amount of water, over logs, through mud, good in traffic and with machinery. He is a nicely broke ranch horse. Open gates on him, he knows his job and does it well. I have thrown a rope off him as well. He loads and trailers quietly, gets along with every horse he meets. Good for the vet and farrier. He was barefoot all winter, just got new front shoes and is ready to get back to work for the summer! Rides quietly in groups or is the best trail horse to just hop on and head out on the trail alone. He never hesitates to leave his buddies back at the barn. Now that it gets light earlier we have been heading out for sunrise rides through the fog and this guy is the best! Just point him where you want to go. I would like to see Copper go to an intermediate rider. Copper was ridden about once or twice a month through the winter due to the weather. Now he is getting back to a routine of riding. He has been the best boy for little riding time. I do not lunge him, just hop on and go and he behaves perfect. He is a big boy with big gaits. He seems to be happy to be back to riding time on the trail and I would love to see someone who will take him out and enjoy him doing what he loves most. Copper will walk all day if that is what you want or is happy to pick it up, just ask. If you are looking for that great trail mount here he is. Price will go up once I get him back into shape so grab him now! You won't be sorry. He was ridden by advanced beginners all last summer. VISIT WEBSITE FOR VIDEO AND PHOTOS, www.runningfreefarm.com
