I just got Gary on trade and was told he was a gelding. He is certainly still intact. I have a vet appointment set up for April 22, 2026 to have him gelded. He is absolutely stunning and I decided to offer him for sale as a stud before he officially becomes a gelding. I am unsure of his color, pretty sure silver..maybe get some dappling this summer, or chocolate? Gary came to me as a trade for an older gelding that I rehabbed over the winter. I take in a few rehabs or young horses to work with as projects. Gary was perfect as he needs more gentling and my older rehabbed gelding found the perfect semi-retirement home. BUT, I wasn't expecting him to not be a gelding. Gary is extremely gentle with my rocky mountain mare, clearly interested in breeding and could be a very nice father to some ponies. Possibly a show pony? I am working with him daily to better his foundation as a good citizen. He currently stands tied, leads and is up to date on his vaccines. Also have a 2024 palomino quarter pony filly that would be a perfect partner, Demelza. Could be a dream team, a golden goddess and a McDreamy stallion!
