He is great to hack both alone and in company, sensible in traffic, and takes open spaces in his stride without becoming strong or silly. In the school, he offers a nice, steady ride and is willing and responsive, making him an enjoyable partner for regular schooling.

Jumping is not his strongest area, but he will happily pop the occasional cross pole. He has recently been out cross country schooling and showed a willing attitude; with time and consistent work, he could build confidence in this area. However, he is not being sold as a jumping horse.
