Clyde: exceptionally flashy drafty pony. Stands at 12.2hh and almost as wide! He is 4 years old and is built like a tank. This little guy is a draft cross. He is bay with a blaze and white socks. Thick mane and plenty of feather. Looks like a mini Clydesdale Thick mane and plenty of feather, has broad chest and big butt. His head is pure draft. He is double branded. Clyde came off a farm in Texas and was completely unhandled when he came. We bought him with plans of training him to ride and drive but circumstances have changed. He has no meanness in him, has never offered to kick or bite, he will come for food and is curious enough to eat from your hand.
He’s a pretty mover, is now wearing a halter and can lead, lunge and wear a saddle. Has been sat on once and led around and he wasn’t phased but we have not ridden him other than that. He’s very brave, smart and learns quickly. He will be a good size for a small adult or child. Send to a trainer or do him yourself and get a gorgeous draft at half the price!
