Not in hurry to sell, she has made dreams come true for a lot of people so I will be picky about where she goes.
River is the kind of bombproof, all around horse your kids need! She had extensive training over a year and a half, so this will be a long read!

Stands for shoes, loads, bathes, etc… all the usual. She is good with it 👍
She has been in our lessons program for a year, taught both kids and adults. She is very tolerant, careful around little kids, she is trained to stop if the rider starts falling off. The youngest student we taught on her was 2.5 years old.
We have a gun range nearby, lots of dogs and animals, and lots of kids. She is desensitized to pretty much anything. No spook at all.
River has covered a lot of ground on the trails (game trails and bushwhacking type 🤠), all sorts of terrain. The longest ride we did was 30 miles in the mountains. She crossed highways (when we got lost on the mountain and ended up on a highway in the dark walking home 🤦🏻♀️), crossed water and bridges. Kids have ridden her to get snacks at grocery store, rode her bareback and backwards (not sure why kids do that ?).
River has been hauled to many places and competed in reined cow horse shows, she is familiar and comfortable with hauling out, being in a new environment, and meeting new people/horses.
The ONLY reason I am listing her is because we just found out that she is in foal and we don’t have the facility to accommodate it. She is due in June-July (Stud pictures included).
Bred to “MERADAS OUNCE OF COURAGE” a sorrel “Reined Cow Horse” Quarter Horse with lots of brain power, willingness, and championships under his belt (in the pictures). River is a double homozygous Leopard and will produce a Leopard every time. A really FANCY foal that will have River’s colors and the brain of a performance Quarter Horse.
