Lets start off very honest here, Ricky is an adorable pony and has excellent ground manners. Comes to you in the field, likes attention. I bought him a couple months ago for my lesson program. Not really beginner lessons, but games and some hunter an small jumps. But.....he seems to get very nervous under saddle, and is a little fast. He is not bucky and he is not spooky, just quick. I just don't have the time to spend with that, so I am listing him for sale. I know I will not get what I paid for him, but thats just the way it goes. I really like this pony and he is great on a trail ride, and likes to follow. You can do leadline with him and he is fine. I know he was out of work for a couple years, so he might just need consistent work to get good again. I only would use him like once a week and I don't think thats enough. I will keep working with him and I do have some kids here that will ride him. He is fine at a walk, just get fast at the other gaits. Had several people text me, seems like they have problems finding the price listed. He is $3500 and I paid more then that for him, my lost. So price is firm. ThanksWe are located in Spotsylvania, VA
