Josephine "Jo" is a fun mare that is coming back into work after being on the back burner due to my pregnancy & busy life with a newborn. Jo has been in my life since her 3 year old year. She is a BIG mover, W/T/C, flying changes when fit, and has coursed up to 3'6 with changes. Prior to being put on the back burner she spent two years with a strong riding junior who absolutely adored her and lessoned on her regularly- typically schooling at 2'3-2'6 including all of the fun junior things, bareback rides, trails etc. Since having my baby I have hauled her into a handful of lessons and she has taken care of me despite long breaks between rides with 0 prep. That being said this mare occasionally needs her hand held by the rider and is most suitable for strong intermediate/advanced riders. Unfortunately due to my own time constraints she has not yet stepped into the show ring. What I am looking for: a quality program with a strong riding junior/amateur looking for a warmblood lease on a budget (this is a PAID/INSURED lease) to continue to develop. Goals of schooling shows and WSHJA/OHJA showing a plus. Large preference for her development in the Hunter/Equitation direction over Jumpers. A note from the breeder: "Josephine II is special and very correct with a world class pedigree. She is brimming with potential. She should have the movement and scope to be successful in anything you ask."
