Liv is a registered AQHA mare with a solid foundation and a variety of real-world experience, including 4H, gymkhana, trail riding, parades, and local horse shows. She has been hauled, exposed to different environments, and has proven to be a brave and willing horse both in and out of the arena. She is a forward-moving, responsive mare with a strong work ethic and would be best suited for an experienced rider. Liv has the kind of motor and mindset that would make her a fun fit for gymkhana, barrel racing, or other speed events, while still being able to go out and trail ride confidently. She is not spooky with typical distractions such as wildlife, bikes, or traffic, and has handled off-property riding well. Liv has had consistent riding and handling over the past few months and has really settled into being a reliable, useful horse. She has also been used in more advanced lessons, and would likely do well in a program looking for a step-up lesson horse for riders ready to progress beyond beginner mounts. She is currently barefoot but is being put back into a full set of shoes to support her comfort and workload. In the past, Liv did receive hock injections, but she has not required maintenance in quite some time and is currently comfortable for light riding and general use. To my knowledge, Liv has not been bred. She does have a few quirks that are reflected in her price. Liv does not tie well to a solid object, but she ground ties very well and is manageable in the right setup. She is also a forward, sensitive ride, which is why she is best suited for a knowledgeable and confident rider rather than a beginner. If you’re looking for a registered AQHA mare with experience, personality, and the ability to go in multiple directions—especially gymkhana, barrels, or trail riding—Liv is a great candidate.
