Bee, is a 16.3 hand, 9 years old bay Thoroughbred mare who has successfully transitioned off the track. She retains a solid foundation from her race training and has continued her development during her time with us
Bee is willing, intelligent, and responsive, showing a good understanding of basic cues. Under saddle, she demonstrates a consistent walk, trot, and lope, along with a stop and backup. While she is not a finished or “fancy broke” horse, she has the potential to progress further with continued, consistent training
She has a calm and level-headed disposition and has been exposed to large farm equipment, heavy duty trucks and skid loaders and all the things with living on a farming operation. Bee would be best suited for an intermediate or experienced rider looking for a horse they can continue to develop.
We have owned Bee since August 2025. She is up to date on vaccinations, routine hoof care, and had her teeth floated in October 2025.
