Heza Proud Man, aka Boone, is an absolute tank! He is very well built and has a wonderful disposition with a sweet demeanor. He is good on the trails, alone or with a group, but excels as a gaming horse. Born and trained in Texas he has a good foundation in all gaming events, especially in barrels and poles. He consistently places 1 or 2D in smaller events such as high school rodeo but has also brought home $$$ in larger sanctioned events. i bought him two years ago for my high school rodeo team and he has been the greatest well minded and safe barrel horse ever! We have traveled all over washington and the northwest competing and he is great on the road and an easy keeper that adapts well to each new environment. He has done dressage and has a soft head that can easily get collected and could go in that direction but i think he would thrive in a gaming home. i have also brought him around cows, tractors, tarps, other horses, and any and all animals. He is great around kids and has a calm demeanor but can get hot headed going into a race or in the warm up arena. he has very tight turns, a fast start up, and can be a handful in the gate sometimes so i think he would do best with an intermediate to advanced rider that can further is barrel racing career and challenge him. I am only selling him because i am going to college in the fall and i know he is too good of a barrel horse to keep in a pasture and i would feel guilty if he was unable to compete any more. I will be picky in regards to who buys him as he means a lot to me and is an absolutely wonderful horse that has taken me very far and taught me so much.
