I am looking for a professional or very experienced “young horse” home for my yearling gelding.
He has been in professional training since October and is well started on his basics. However, he is a very ‘bold’ youngster that has learned he can test his boundaries with his size. He requires an assertive, high level leader and is not suited for an amateur or intermediate level handler at this stage.
He has enormous potential to be a serious horse in the right hands but has currently outgrown my comfort level. References will be requested to ensure he goes to a home capable of continuing his professional development.
I’ve owned him since June 2025. He was approximately 6-8 months old then. This would put his current age between 18 and 20 months old. Haven’t sticked him but he’s already around 14.3 hands and growing.
He has had his feet trimmed every six weeks since October, was gelded in February and is current on vaccinations. Has been trailered about 6 times already and had no problems.
