The inspectors commented on his bold uphill movement , his good form over fences, elegance, excellent saddle position, nice neck set, as well as his nice temperament. Tate found his stride in eventing in 2013 by winning the Area III Preliminary Championship followed by the Inagural CHC International CIC*. He proved that he was a force to be reckoned with by following that up with a win at the 2014 Red Hills International Horse Trials CIC* with the best score of all FEI divisions.
