Otis is a handsome off-the-track Thoroughbred with a gentle personality and a heart of gold. His last race was in 11/2025, earning an impressive $175,251 during his racing career. Since coming off the track, he has been started lightly on barrels, but he truly seems to enjoy a more laid-back lifestyle with trail riding and lighter work.
Otis is a big, lovable gelding that enjoys attention and being around people. On the ground, he can get a little pushy at times, so he does need an experienced and confident handler/rider who will set clear boundaries. Under saddle, however, he is a completely different horse — quiet, willing, and enjoyable to ride.
He would make a great partner for someone looking for a trail horse, pleasure horse, or light riding companion rather than a high-pressure performance career.
