This registered 4-year-old Canadian gelding has had a solid start and demonstrates a noticeably improving, dependable mindset. He was professionally started as a 3-year old and has recently completed an additional 30 days of consistent riding. He is now quietly trail-riding several days a week, handling real-world situations with growing confidence. He has proven to be steady and sensible—even when surprised by wildlife such as deer or rabbits—and is comfortable navigating narrow trails, thick brush and natural obstacles. Under saddle, he is going walk/trot/canter and continues to improve with consistency. He has a good foundation and is progressing well with :• Voice commands • Leg cues • Backing • Neck reining On the ground, he is easy to handle :• Loads well • Stands for the farrier • Ground drives through obstacles This is a balanced, solid gelding with good bone, good topline, and a lovely confirmation that is typical of the Canadian breed. He has a calm, intelligent expression and is developing into a versatile partner. He is currently being ridden regularly by a 60-year-old rider with multiple sclerosis, which speaks to his developing steadiness, tolerance, and kind disposition. He is still young and will benefit from an experienced rider who can continue to build on his confidence, but is proving himself to be a reliable, level-headed horse with a great trajectory. He is barefoot and up to date on trims, deworming and vaccinations. He is higher in the hierarchy of the herd, with no known health or behavioral issues and is turned out 24/7 with other horses.
