Copper just needs a good 30 days and he’ll be the perfect riding horse for anyone! He’s a VERY fast learner! I’ve been able to teach him how to lick me instead of his usual love nips he likes to give and he learned that within a few minutes of me just repeating "lick" to him.
He’d be best suited for an experienced home. Not for beginners unless they have a trainer. I’m too much of a beginner myself so i’m unable to ride him myself but otherwise i’ve had people with a lot of experience under their belt ride him perfectly fine! (he gets ridden once a week by an experienced rider)
I’ve started walking him up and down the private road i live on and he does absolutely wonderful! he’s more curious than anything so he could be a wonderful trail horse for someone!
He leads, loads, hard ties, stands (sometimes wants to fall asleep for the farrier lol), respects fences, amazing with any horse he’s with, has decent manners, no bad behaviors, 100% sound, and no spook.
