More “whoa” than “go,” Clifford is happy to just walk along and pack around just about anyone. He’s safe, sane, and not spooky at all, even with time off. Smooth gaits you can ride all day with a relaxed walk, easy jog, and smooth lope. Not fancy broke but, good neck rein, picks up both leads, backs, and has a good whoa. Stands quietly at the mounting block until prompted to walk off.
Gentle and respectful ground manners, easy to catch — usually the first one to meet you at the gate. Clifford loves attention and genuinely enjoys people without being pushy. He clips, bathes, fly sprays, lunges, loads, hauls, and worms easily, UTD. Can be kept in a paddock or turned out and gets along great in a mixed herd.
