Journey, 19year old, 15'1 (not sticked) stunning grade Quarter horse mare. Even though we are posting this for a friend, we put effort into making these as informative and honest as possible. She would be an amazing halter/showmanship horse and honestly that's where I'd love to see her go. She has really nice ground manners and, well, just look at her! She could also be a low level riding horse with some work and direction. Would be a good leadline pony too. Could also be a pasture pet or companion horse. She does have a lameness issue it seemed to go away with MSM when we worked with her a bit. But the people who have her now said that it got worse with riding. We've had the farrier look at her and they couldn't find out where it was coming from. They said she was a very nice mover when she wasn't limping. Here are the pros and cons of this beautiful mare! Pros: -She is fairly easy to catch, especially if you have a cookie. -AA and JR with a trainer friendly. -Not barn sour. - Grandparent, husband, cat, dog, and kid friendly. -Same horse on and off property. -Utd on coggins, vaccines, dewormer, farrier, ect. -Barefoot. -Lunges with voice cues, without yanking your arm off. -No vices. -Stays fat off air. Cons: -Shes a little rusty at just about everything, she hasn't been doing much. She seems to be willing to learn. -Doesn't like loading in a straight load. She will load just fine in a slant. She would get better with the straight load with time and work. We don't have the time to work with her. -Old hip injury (we think), she is sound on MSM. -A little pushy and not really aware of your space, but it would be a pretty easy fix. Again, we don't have the time to work with her. Riding experience: -We're not sure what she was used for before our friends got her, but she definitely knows leg and pressure. I've hopped on her Bareback, English, and Western W/J/L and she's a little rusty but not too bad overall. She would need some work to be a full time riding horse. Friends say she has been out on some trails. -Not too pushy but she knows how to stand up for herself. -Does good with mares and geldings. PPE at buyers expense, she won't pass because of old hip injury. Trials are welcomed and serious inquiries are encouraged. No off property trials. Lowest of low x,xxx very negotiable, owners want a quick and easy sale. Contact: For any questions or to set up a trial text 423-664-2024.
