Looking for a nice solid english schooled gelding? Colorado Gold is a well schooled English hunter/equitation type gelding. He is a solid 2'6"-2'9" horse that is eligible for 3'. Additionally, his intelligent, calm temperament enables him to be a nice trail horse, field horse, and the gelding even pulls a one-horse sleigh. He does get schooled on the flat regularly and will do best with a rider who enjoys flat work in addition to schooling over fences. He's a very sound well conformed gelding with a champion pedigree. You only need to put simple shoes on his fronts and he does not require special supplements or medications. He schools in a loose ring snaffle. He is a sturdy, strong horse that can easily carry a man or a bigger rider. The only caveat and reason why I'm interested in leasing this horse versus selling, is that he's blind in one eye, and I really like him. However he's really ready to do more and I'm not going to be the person to take him there.

I will require a qualified home/trainer/rider combination. I'm really not interested in shuffling this horse off to just anybody. If everything works out and you fall in love with him, I will consider selling the gelding but that will have to be worked out later. The lease is for people in Colorado unless you have a convincing reason why I should change that. I will be updating photos and videos as I have them available. Right now everything is 3 years old.
