Lucent JRF

Lucent is a year-old Friesian Warmblood cross, who combines an exceptional temperament with presence, athleticism, and trainability that make him an exciting young prospect. We expect him to mature at 16.0+.
He is naturally engaging, curious and “in your pocket” with his people. Lucent has the luxurious Friesian appearance; abundant hair, jet black coat and expressive look, while also possessing the desirable sport and athletic influence through his sire, Kaiman, standing at Iron Spring Farm.

Dam, Koel Van Wauw is a 2011 imported KFPS Star mare with a decorated and proven Damline.
Koel has returned to work under saddle after producing several quality foals.


Lucent has three quality gaits and has shown a willing attitude in his handling and early education. Lucent completed several months of professional groundwork training off-site last summer and has since traveled well off property and handled new environments appropriately. He has now returned to begin his under-saddle career.

Lucent is currently offered at $18,000 and his price will increase with training.

We care deeply about where Lucent ends up; Finding a home where he will be loved, well cared for, and appreciated as an individual is our first priority. We would also enjoy seeing him continue to develop into a quality riding horse with someone who values both his temperament and long-term riding potential.
