Chocolate Brownie is the best of both breeds. She is solidly built with fantastic lofty movement and 3 wonderful gaits. She looks like a horse sized pony and will be willing to do anything and everything. She is sweet, smart, cheeky, bold, not mare-ish, loves to be groomed, enjoys her udder rubs/cleaning, and is like a big puppy dog. We cannot say enough good things about this filly and are surprised no one has scooped her up yet. The breeding program is working towards semi-retirement and therefore we are not keeping any fillies. We expect her to finish mid 15h range. She was 13.0 1/2 hands at 7 months old.
Her dam Francine Van de Kapel is a beautiful 15.3 ½ h sBs mare by Bustique out of a Farmer mare. She is a fantastic mom who installs bravery and can-do into all of her foals. Francine competed through 1.30 and Novice Eventing before she became a broodmare.
Her sire Van Helsing is a gorgeous stallion standing 14.0 & 3/4+h, he is correct, and super athletic! He is friendly and laid back with three correct and powerful gaits. His full siblings are peas in a pod standing 14.3h and while he is the shortest all of his foals are taller than him. Under saddle he is smart, respectful, and very willing to learn anything. He was jumping 18"-2' courses before becoming a full time mountain trail horse as a gelding.
