Reg. Rocky Mountain Gelding. Troubadour is 17 yo. 14.3/15 hds. Stout! Beautiful head. Has been shown. Trail ridden everywhere. I feel like he would be broke for anyone. Gentle disposition. Clips and bathes. Trail rides the best. Not much startles him. Leads or follows. Loads good. Does wonderful when riding with new horses. Great for farrier. Respects electric fencing. Current coggins but is Due for his shots. I’ve ridden him out alone several times and he’s done very well. Con: shortly after I purchased him he was diagnosed with Heaves. Vet said the good about this is it’s in his bronchial tubes and not his lungs. I’ve had him allergy tested and he’s gets one shot monthly now for his allergies (which I will send with him along with vet records) generic Zyrtec twice daily and Mullen tea. I believe he’s been on his shots for 6 months now and his breathing has improved. Even in this heat, is sooooo much better but his rate is still 22 to 24 breathes per minute. I can send a video so you can see, or come see/ride for yourself. He would be fine for light riding on level ground. I would not recommend him for mountainous trails or any hard work, because of this. That’s why I’m selling him. I ride in the mountains. Though I know he would do it for me, I’m not going to ask him. Not cheap but cheap for the type of horse he is.
