Exceptionally steady, honest, and confident, he instantly settles his rider. From first‑time riders to seasoned horsemen, Goode offers safety and consistency that are hard to find. With patience, he has taught beginners to lope, spin, and side‑pass with ease. He is a true teacher with a generous heart. He has an easy lead change, smooth turnarounds, and a cadenced way of moving. He is simple to maneuver, move forward, and stop when asked. Showing him at Ranch Versatility events has been a joy.
Outside the arena, he excels on the trail and around the ranch. He is quiet, sure‑footed, and thoughtful over varied terrain, water crossings, and cattle work. He also enjoys rides through the busy streets and hanging out at the local bakery. He has lent a hand carrying green riders into the mountains on day trips and also on cattle drives. We appreciate that he will ride out alone quietly when the group leaves. He would be a prized ranch foreman horse. He has spent a lot of time gathering and sorting cattle on the ranch.
