“Dont shade my shine” AKA Reno 5 year old AQHA gelding. Approximately 15.1 around 1,000lbs. Reno has been a fantastic and smart gelding with lots of go in my opinion. He is very responsive, a quick learner and wants to please. I have lost count but I’d say he’s had around 100 rides in several different arenas, open pasture and the Oregon horse center trail course. He hasn’t offered to rear but has had a few small little kicks. He loads, clips, baths, ties and is good for the farrier. I think Reno would make a great gaming ranching or even a good trail horse with consistent work.
Reno does have sarcoids as you can see in the pictures I think it is important to disclose this and that many treatments have been tried. I have medical records to show what all has been done if interested I will share. Though displeasing to the eye they don’t seem to have any effect on him. Please do your own research on sarcoids.
Reno had his feet done at the end of March, wormed at the beginning of April and teeth floated sheath cleaned and vaccines 4/13/2026.
Reno is ready for a job and the right person to give it to him.
