If you are looking for a Unicorn of a Mule, Big Red is your boy!! This social butterfly will be the first guy to meet you at the gate, follow you around like a puppy dog and beg you to rub his ears. Red does his best work out on the trails in the mountains. He will do arena work, but does not have tons of speed to move through poles or go around barrels. He is 16 hands and 13 years old.

He has been used in our kid’s camp program with kids ranging from ages 6-12 and adores the littles. When not taking care of the kids during camp he is out on the trails taking novice to advanced riders on a tour through the mountains. He will go anywhere in the string with no issues. He will lead the string and will ride out on his own.

In the fall, Big Red is taking hunters in & out of camp and out on daily hunting adventures. Typically he is in our guided camp September till 1st part of November. He stands well in the trees, respects the electric fence, and does great on the highline during the day.

You will not have any issues with the farrier, does not get shoes, gets into/out of the trailer like a breeze, stands at the hitching post patiently, and stands when mounting.

Once Fall hunting season is completed, he is in pasture till mid May, but is ready to go when the summer horseback riding season starts.
