AJ Rafiq is a striking 13-year-old black Purebred Arabian stallion standing 15.2 hands high and offered as a future gelding for the right home. He is an intelligent, social, and emotionally balanced horse who has spent his entire life living naturally in a herd environment with freedom of movement and daily interaction with other horses.
Rafiq is calm, cooperative, and easy to handle. He enjoys human interaction and is accustomed to grooming, leading, daily handling, farm activity, machinery, dogs, and year-round outdoor living with shelter. Under saddle, he has shown himself to be willing, uncomplicated, and eager to learn, providing an excellent foundation for his future development.
He is ideally suited for leisure riding, trail riding, endurance, liberty work, groundwork, classical riding, or simply serving as a valued companion horse. His calm nature and social disposition make him a pleasure to be around both on the ground and under saddle.
In 2022, Rafiq sustained a hind leg injury after becoming caught in fencing. He received professional veterinary treatment and made a full recovery. The injury left only a cosmetic scar with no lasting tissue damage according to subsequent veterinary evaluations. Movement videos are available.
