Whiz it rooster AKA Rooster is a 6 year old AQHA gelding that I got as a companion for my older horse.
He was not sold to me as a riding horse due to some on and off lameness problems that his previous owner spent a lot trying to figure out. Since getting him I have seen some off steps here and there however this horse wants to work and loves to have a job.
For the last year he has been a part time trail horse and is thriving! He also enjoys liberty and going for walks like a large dog.
I joke that he is essentially a large puppy dog because he has the sweetest and goofiest personality.
He’s a super easy keeper, fat on air type and just gets balancer and hay for feed. Barefoot and I use scoot boots on the trail. Stands for the vet a farrier, jumps right on a trailer, and rides the same around the house as he does at off property trail rides.
I am happy to disclose all of the findings from his previous owner including radiographs and bloodwork along with current videos of his movement.
He won’t be your next show horse but if you’ve been looking for a laid back trail horse type that’s an easy keeper and can be a companion this is your horse!
He’s been out riding with dogs, around children, and various types of machinery with no issues.
As a 2 year old he was started in reining and has all the fancy buttons and I’ve even ridden him without a bridle around the back yard.
Priced at 2500 negotiable as my first concern is the right home for him! He will be sold with a first right of refusal.
I do also have a super nice custom western ranch saddle that can go with him.
