If horses could choose their own breed, Mark would be a Golden Retriever. Sweet, affectionate, and happiest when spending time with his people, he is searching for a partner who enjoys grooming sessions, trail rides, and plenty of treats along the way.

Standing 17.1 hands, Mark is a true gentle giant with a quiet, easygoing personality. He is firmly in the “whoa” camp rather than the “go” camp and is the type of horse that makes riders feel comfortable and confident. In fact, my 4-year-old son regularly loves to hop on when I’m riding and ride with me.

Lightly restarted after his racing career, Mark has proven to be sensible and willing both in and out of the arena. He enjoys hacking out alone or with company, is working confidently through basic flatwork and pole exercises, and has already been used in several lessons.
