King Jimmy is a black Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse gelding standing 14 hands high and is an exceptional trail and family horse. Small and gentle enough for children, yet sturdy enough for adults, Jimmy is known for his calm nature, reliability, and outstanding manners. He enjoys attention, grooming, baths, and farrier visits, making him a pleasure to own and handle. Trusted with children and beginner riders, Jimmy is patient and forgiving under saddle. If a rider becomes unbalanced, he will stop and wait until they are ready to continue. He is equally comfortable leading the group or bringing up the rear on the trail. Jimmy is smooth to ride, has a big stop, neck reins beautifully, and responds willingly when asked. He has been ridden on numerous trail rides, wagon trains, and mountain trails, proving himself to be a safe and dependable partner. In the pasture, Jimmy is quiet, respectful, and gets along well with other horses. He can be turned out with companions or live alone without issue. He respects both electric fencing and traditional pasture fencing and is not dominant toward other horses. He has also been used as a companion horse for young horses and during foal weaning. Jimmy loads and unloads calmly and quietly, comes into the barn willingly at feeding time, and has no bad habits or rude behavior. With clean legs, excellent hooves, and a sweet disposition, he is ready for his next home and many more miles on the trail. Contact me via email if you are interested: frankkrugerr@gmail.com
