Looking for a horse you can truly build a partnership with? Meet Anjana.
This beautiful Azteca mare has been started thoughtfully and slowly, allowing her the time she needed to mature both physically and mentally. She was started under saddle last year and was progressing nicely at the walk and trot. Her canter is still developing at the lunge as she continues to learn balance and coordination. She has been out of work since winter of 2025 and will need to be restarted. She was born and raised on site and will need some patience when it comes to trailering and seeing new places as she has only been hauled off property once.
Anjana is smart, sweet, and genuinely enjoys having a job. She loves hitting the trails close to home and is eager to learn. She is still green and needs a confident, patient, and fair rider to continue her education. Her spanish bloodlines can make her a bit spicy. She has been ridden on the trail alone with no other horses and has done amazing. She's been ridden in a dressage saddle or bareback pad. Has had a western saddle on her before. Currently rides in a side pull. Has only carried a bit in her mouth a few times and will need more time adjusting to one. No buck or bolt under saddle but can be reactive to new environments or activities.

Anjana will require an experienced horseman to get her going at this time. This is not a beginners horse and price reflects this. Snatch her up at a low cost and send her to a trainer for 90 days and I think she will be an amazing partner for someone. She would excel in Working Equitation, lower level dressage, trail riding/obstacle work and Liberty.
