Mo – Registered AQHA Gelding – 16 Years Old – 16.2hh This is a hard post to make because Mo is truly one of the best horses I've been around in a long time. Mo is a 16-year-old registered AQHA gelding standing 16.2hh with an exceptional disposition. He is kind, sweet, and easy to be around. On the ground, he is trustworthy and respectful—I would trust my 3-year-old around him without hesitation. Under saddle, Mo has a big motor and enjoys having a job. In the arena, I would recommend him for an advanced rider due to his forward nature. Outside of the arena, he is as honest as they come. We offer trail rides, and I've confidently put people who have never ridden before on him. He goes through water, over obstacles, and wherever you point him without hesitation. He is not spooky and takes new experiences in stride. Mo has been started on barrels and has shown plenty of potential. With very limited hauling since I've owned him, he has still managed to place in the Top of the 3D and run in the bottom of the 2D. He is not a finished barrel horse, but he has the foundation, athleticism, and talent for someone to continue bringing along. He loads and unloads from the trailer with ease, is up to date on vaccinations, deworming, farrier care, and everything else. He is also scheduled for a dental in two weeks. I purchased Mo about a year ago, but shortly after buying him I became pregnant, which put his training and competition schedule on hold. As much as I love this horse, I've come to realize he isn't the right fit for me, and he deserves someone who can continue his journey. Whether you're looking for a dependable trail horse, a barrel prospect, or an all-around partner with a fantastic mind, Mo has a lot to offer. 📍 Located in Galesburg, MI I would consider a trade for a younger horse that is started under saddle but not started on the barrel pattern. PM for more information, videos, or to schedule a time to come meet Mo.
