Bee is a 5yo, 16.1hh OTTB mare who retired sound in late 2024 after 8 races and no wins (JC: Lucky Honey). This girl is way too laid back for racing! She's had a nice slow, correct restart since coming off the track - extremely sweet and definitely more of a kick ride, but will move out willingly when asked. Green, but easy to ride and could go in any direction. No buck/rear/bolt or spook in her. Would be a great project for an AA or junior with a trainer who wants a horse to bring along for your preferred discipline - I can see her succeeding in eventing, hunters, or just as a pleasure or trail horse. Bee has a lovely balanced W/T/C and has jumped 2' so far, which she really seems to enjoy. Hacks out alone or in company. Same horse if ridden daily or weekly. Happy to ride on a loose rein but is learning to collect and carry herself - she's a very fast learner! Turn out with mares or geldings, low in the hierarchy. Stands well for vet/farrier/clipping/bathing. Price will go up with more training and off-property experience over the summer. Will consider on-site lease, Sandy Spring MD.
