“Lance” is 3 years old with lots of hauling under his belt. He was started in Idaho by Mill Iron 7 Performance horses owned by Callee Miller who specializes in starting, showing, and training reined cow horses. After that Lance made his way out to Oregon to do 60days under saddle ranchin with Corrine Elser. A reined cow horse trainer, and the owner of Lance’s Sire, There Comes Cash. Lance’s dam was a flashy paint who was a kid friendly family favorite. From parades to Eh Capa her good mind made her a fun anything-horse and a sweet broodmare in the end. His daddy eats up a cow and has done well working on the ranch and in the derby arenas. It’s now Lance’s turn to find his perfect person and a job for him to thrive in. After training, Lance has spent about 6mos just sitting at home. He is still growing and it wouldn’t be shocking to see him hit 16hh. I took him to a Spook clinic in March where he proved to be extremely curious and comfortable! He did everything possible in the arena and loved it despite never having seen such things in his whole life. He Hasn’t seen much at all as the home barn is quiet, but he was more than happy to be out exploring! For his age, I was Surprised at just how good minded and fun he was. He is not skittish Or spooky. He’s Easy to catch, load, shoe, vet, and handle. He enjoys water, and wants to play. He may be a Bit mouthy from being spoiled by his old man owner but he doesn’t bite, he just needs firm boundaries as all youngin’s do. He wants to chew and suck on his lead rope constantly and Will untie himself. That’s about it for his vices. He is Super willing to explore and try new things and does so confidently. He is super friendly, and attention seeking. He’s kind and gentle with the month old filly he’s neighbor to, and to the mares that are stalled all around him. He does fine on pasture and has been indoor stalled, in a dry lot, and out on acreage. He’s sound and blemish free. He rocks Flashy socks and a light creamy coat with the traditional all white mane & tail and dapples. He is Not a hard keeper and not an easy keeper. He Just had his feet done yesterday, and a bath last week and is UTD on vaccines. He needs a job with an active person. He loves getting caught and groomed. Is easy to saddle and bridle.. basically anything you do with him he’s well minded about and happy to do it. I think he’d be a fun all-around. He moves pretty, has a low headset, and think he could do well English or western the way he’s built and moves. Only been ridden western. Ready to finish and have fun with But still green. Obviously. Handy kid 4H prospect even. He is sweet to the young girls who we’ve had handle him a few times. Will make someone a very nice easy gentle gelding. Will be picky.
