McLeod Leduc aka Duke or Louie 100% Foundation Morgan Stallion, Liver Chestnut Lambet/Lippitt/Western Working (Triple S lines) Born May 2020. Good bone, good size 15hh ish. Bred/Trained by McLeod Morgans Has been handled, but was out to pasture with mares for a year. Has one colt on the ground who adores people. He is gentle on the ground. Very easy to lead even when he is worked up. I have not had him tied, but he stood well when I brushed out his mane. He has been difficult to catch in a pasture with mares, but very easy to catch in a smaller space and excellent when alone. You can walk up to him in the pasture with mares and he doesn't mind, sometimes he'll stick around to be pet, othertimes he does his own thing. He is very sweet. He is very good with foals, even if they aren't his. I haven't had a farrier out so he needs his feet done, but they're solid feet and he's barefoot. He was good for the vet and loaded/traveled well in a slant beside a mare. He is still a PROJECT. I will be working with him more on groundwork, he does already turn and face, and I'm sure he'll be very easy to get started under saddle. There's no mean bone in him, and he does want to please. He does NOT get along with other Stallions or Geldings. He must be kept alone, and unfortunately I run all my stallions together when they are not with mares. He needs very good fences. He will break through fences and jump fences to get to mares. He has cleared 4ft-5ft fences and gates (possible jumper prospect). He does respect hot fence. I truly believe he will make someone a fantastic stallion or gelding. Unfortunately my facilities are not good enough to keep him safe and my other stallions safe from him and that is the only reason why he is available. https://beta.allbreedpedigree.com/mcleods-leduc-dqVuwCj6/pedigree?fbclid=IwdGRjcASgEbdjbGNrBKARqGV4dG4DYWVtAjExAHNydGMGYXBwX2lkDDM1MDY4NTUzMTcyOAABHingpdoj_kGlpWgpe__QVrqcuEsDuZf86lyipO0v--EtqQ1z0KvWVQMSEYr__aem_fkHOKH0-kkuIyRyEyUc4bA
