Hawk is a 2024 (full two year old in August) Appaloosa pony gelding currently measuring 13.1 hands. His sire is a full Appaloosa, and his dam is a 1/2 Welsh Pony and 1/2 Quarter Horse, bred by Perryman QHs in Viola, AR. We purchased him when he was 6 months old and have been working with him on ground manners, a little light riding in the round pen, and we have started driving him and he is started lightly on a cart. We anticipate he will mature between 13.1 and 14 hands. He is easy to catch, allows you to pick up and trim all feet, and you can see his most current training in the attached video. He is well started, but still considered GREEN BROKE, and is ready to continue in his lessons. He will make a great cart pony, but also will be good for children as his training continues.
