2020 Sorrel Mare | Foaled June 7, 2020 C Heart Carona Frost × ImGetinLuckyTonight (ImFeelingLuckyTonight) If you're looking for a young mare that is exceptionally broke, well bred, level-headed, and already has a solid foundation, Freddie deserves a serious look. At just six years old, she is as broke as many older horses. She has been hauled, trail ridden, exposed to cattle, roped off of, ridden bareback, ridden double, has been shown at 4-h in open classes, ranch & game classes and confidently handled by riders of varying experience levels .She does have a solid foundation on the barrel pattern as well, but would excel in a ranch/trail home as she does not have the heart to be a barrel horse and we would be happy to further discuss with potential homes. She has speed when asked, but she also has an excellent off-switch. Freddie is a 2020 sorrel mare with a cute little head, a full mane and tail, and the kind of build that gains muscle just by looking at a feed bucket. She stands 14.1-14.2 HH, is well-proportioned, and is an easy keeper. Papers are in hand, and she is 6-panel negative by parentage. Freddie has been exposed to just about everything we've been able to think of. Loud equipment doesn't bother her, including drones flying overhead. She crosses bridges and tarps without issue, rides out alone, and isn't buddy sour. She is often free-ran through open fields with a rider aboard and remains level-headed and responsive. She stands tied to a trailer all night at events, loads and unloads easily, eats and drinks well on the road, and settles nicely whether she's stalled in a barn or outside. On the ground, Freddie is polite and respectful. She isn't pushy, can be led by small children, enjoys being brushed and fussed over, stands well for the farrier, fly spray, bathing, tacking, and untacking. She can go barefoot or wear shoes and requires no maintenance. Under saddle, Freddie is the same horse every ride. She rides bareback, rides out alone, rides double without complaint, and isn't fazed by the typical teenage rider shenanigans that seem to happen when adults aren't looking. She knows her ground work, arena work, lunges well, is extremely smart, and has a willing attitude. She has plenty of speed when asked, but she stays level-headed and doesn't get silly or hot. She does have a solid foundation on the barrel pattern; however, she would truly excel in a ranch or trail home. While she understands the barrel pattern well, she does not have the desire or drive to be a competitive barrel horse. We would be happy to further discuss her strengths and suitability with potential homes to ensure the best match. She is sweet, chill, sensible, and genuinely enjoyable to have around. She does well stalled in a barn, doesn't care if her best friend leaves to be ridden, and won't stand there hollering for company. If you're looking for a safe, sane, well-broke mare, plenty of versatility, and enough speed to get a job done when asked, Freddie de
