Lil' Joe is a great horse with lots of potential. Could be a great all-around ranch horse. He is 8 but got a late start. Was broke but not with consistent training until I purchased 2 years ago. Was in training for 4 months last year with Lily Santulli at RHR Versatility. Lots of arena riding, moved cows, has been on trails and camping. Joe is a perfect size. May be just under 14.2 but very stocky and good size. You do not feel like he is short when on him. He has gone both barefoot and with front shoes depending on where riding him. He gets along well with other horses, but can be a little bossy at times, but doesn't hurt others, just pushes them around. Currently pastured with an older gelding and a mini. He does try to herd the mini at times! Loads perfect into any trailer. Great ground manners, ties well. He has a loving and goofy personality. He will bond with his person. Joe is a very forward horse and can be fast. He can also go slow as well. But because of this recommend not for beginners. Age of rider doesn't matter but does need someone with confidence. I could see a handy girl/teen fall in love with him and have a blast together. Selling to the right home only. Want him to go to someone who will keep him for a while and don't want him getting passed around. He deserves his own person to grow with. He is the perfect age to take him whatever direction you want.
