Cousteau is looking for a new career, one filled with more trails and less arena work. He has zero spook, goes in a group or alone, will walk through/on anything. And he will march with his ears forward the entire time(for hours and hours.) He doesn’t care about traffic (cars, trains, or planes) great with dogs, and doesn’t kick if friends tailgate. Cous is NOT for a beginner, he’s strong, can be pushy on the ground, and is pretty mouthy. But once he knows the rules….he will still try to push the envelope. He’s sound w/t/c, cannot jump anymore. He had an injury (totally healed and cleared by vet) that has ended his jumping career. His owner wants to continue in the show ring and Cousteau cannot. He has fox hunted but gets too excited and 14-18 mile cantering rides aren’t in the cards for his old injury. (Yes, we will release vet records to serious buyers) He needs minimal maintenance with his old injury (shoes and a pad on his right front) He hauls, baths, clips, stands for vet/farrier and does all the horse things he should….while finding anything and everything to play with. He is very personable, in your pocket(literally) never herd bound. Prefers to live outside 24/7 and does best with a big turnout area. Great with other horses. Would make a stellar husband horse-he LOVES men.
