"Sky" is what every Gypsy Vanner Horse Lovers Dreams are made of! Sky is a big fluffy best friend to love on and our families favorite! He is always happy to see you with all the kisses and scratches and cuddles. He is incredibly kind and gentle. Sky is respectful and pleasant, even little Sarah plays with his feathered legs and sits on his big comfortable back while he stands like a gentleman! She says "He is a GOOD BOY and soooo pretty". Sky was sold as a 6 year old through a high end driving barn in Florida where he drove a carriage single, double and was ridden 1st level dressage by children. He was sold to avid trail riders who have ridden and enjoyed Sky in all types of country. Sky has been used to teach lessons, and has even been started jumping! He has been nothing short of wonderful for every task we have asked of him. Whether he’s Driving, riding English or Western, or Bareback and Bridle-less, Sky is sure to please! We love having one so unflappable around to let the kids play with! They spent countless hours getting on and off from the fence, riding around bareback, sliding off and doing it again! When friends have come over to ride that live in town, Sky goes around and around again, happily packing kiddo after kiddo. Sky has exceptionally smooth gaits, is so soft and willing for the kids. He will go out alone or with other horses. He is easy to catch, lead, load, haul, stands tied, bathe, groom, pick feet, saddle, bridle, and quiet for the vet and farrier. Stands for mount and dismount. Sky has an excellent lope off, picks up both of his leads well, and has a great stop and neck-rein. Watch his video and check out all his pictures!
