I can’t believe I’m making this post but I love this horse to much to let her sit. GBH BLUE SKY DRIFTER aka Sadie Sadie is an 8 year old AQHA and FQHA grey mare. She is around 15.2 hands tall. She has been used for mostly trail riding and a bunch of small shows at Barry county. She was used for equestrian team too. She has an amazing mind and is always willing to do what you ask and learns really quickly. She would be an amazing kids horse. She does really good with walk trot and loves kids. My goal with her was to do ranch work and go to foundation shows but because she has a few quirks I wasn’t able to. With that being said she has some pain in her left front but she has had this issue ever since we have had her which has been for 3 years but we haven’t been able to improve it. If u going to push her really hard you might want to look more into what it is but if you ride her daily and don’t push her as much she should be great! We have done x rays and she got injections which seems to help for the most part I think she will need more injections depending on how much u ride her. She was tested for navicular and doesn’t have it. She is also has shoes on right now. I truly love this horse and will be very picky about where she goes. Asking 8️⃣5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ Located near Wayland Michigan I did ride her today and she seemed to be doing pretty good. Something wrote by our trainer or another opinion about her 🩵For your consideration!🩵 🩵💙GBH Blue sky drifter. Aka Sadie🩵💙 Are you looking for an all around mare suitable for your toddlers step up? Sadie is one of those mares that you can hop on in the pasture when you’re bored and not worry about the tail swishing and ear pinning. This mare was in my program for 60 days and was honorable. She is respectful in the stall, she is the boss with grace in the pasture, and works to please under saddle. She is honest and sane. Stands tied for saddling, grooming and bathing, vet care, bodywork etc. Sadie is very kid safe and does not spook easily. Sadie will ride out in the field alone or in a line on the trail. She enjoys that best but also works very well in the English and western/ranch and has done plenty of pattern work. She has not had proper showmanship put on her but would learn that really easy. I have dabbled with it for fun so she does have a sense of it but she is not confident in it yet. We work ground poles with Sadie often to keep her strong as she does have one con. Con: Sadie get sore a lot in her front. She does not have navicular according to multiple vets. We just cannot figure it out. They have multiple sets of x-rays they can provide upon sale along with bodywork files etc. We believe that whatever it is can be figured out with someone who can take the reins and dig deeper. She was used all show season for the last 2 years with maintenance to keep her comfortable so I believe she could continue when you have the true answers.
