TMR Vivienne, barn name is Belle, is a 9-year-old registered Gypsy Vanner mare. We've had Belle for the last 2 years and have used her solely for riding. Prior to us, she had at least 3 foals that we know of. She was a wonderful mom. Although not genetically tested for color, her foals have all been Piebald or Tobiano even when she's been bred to a solid color stallion.
Belle is striking with one blue eye and hair for days! Her mane, forelock, and tail are long and THICK. She stands right at 15 hands. Belle is currently overweight as she is an easy keeper and definitely would thrive in a situation that has a dry lot as well as regular work. She requires no maintenance and, despite her weight, has never foundered or had any metabolic issues.
Belle is used to living outside but also does well in a stall. She is gentle and kind. She loves attention and bonds quickly with anyone who gives her attention. She is currently in with geldings and is the boss, but she's very polite about it. She has also been in pastures with mares and does just as well. When in with mares she falls somewhere in the middle of the pecking order.
Belle is UTD on all vet and farrier visits. She stands well for both and is easy to handle in every situation we've had her in. We have owned her the last 2 years and the only reason we are selling her is her owner is headed off to college. Belle thrives with consistency. We want what's best for her and will be picky where she goes.
Belle is green broke under saddle as the majority of her riding has been done on our farm and by a teenager. She will walk/trot/canter under saddle but needs work on staying balanced in the faster gaits. For this reason, she would do best with a rider with some experience or someone working with a trainer.
