His gaits are mainly diagonal with a favouring of Batida over Picada.
He easily holds a long-strided walk, and all other gaits are fluid and rhythmic.
Rufino cares for his rider, whether inexperienced or seasoned.
He has shown a love of obstacles & could easily excel in Mountain trail or Working equitation.
Rufino shows a natural affiliation & confidence with cattle.
When breeding, he is a gentleman on the ground and with the ladies.
Rufino's conformation is excellent - for his breed and in general. He shows little if any termino, has 4 well-balanced and strong dark hooves & a well-muscled and balanced back.
