Colonel Skipa Nugget or skip as we call him is a super gentle exceptionally well bred 8 year old gelding that is sure turns heads in any crowd. He stands 15.3hh tall and weigh approx 1200lbs. We have used skip in the arena and some on the ranch. He rides low headed and light handed. Rides off leg cues. Lopes circles IN THE CORRECT LEAD both directions and has a nice right now stop. He meets you at the gate when you go to catch him. Stays gentle with time off and is super easy to bathe,load,haul,saddle,and bridle and stands good for the farrier. Skip was started on the head side by previous owner. He was started on the machine and had roped about 25 head of live steers when I bought him. We do not rope in the arena so he has not seen that in 2 years. Skip has never really been pointed in any direction but we haven't found anything he will not do. He rides super nice in the arena and with o heat or issues. Skip is a little bench kneed. (Opposite of pigeon toed) but has never had any lameness or performance due to this flaw .
