FOR SALE or TRADE: We have a 13.2 hand strawberry roan pinto mare. While the vet who did the PPE confirmed her age to be 14, a subsequent vet thought she is more like 16-18 years old. Misty was sold to us as a great pony for a beginner rider. She is not. She doesn’t buck or rear or do naughty pony tricks but is forward and requires a more advanced beginner in a lesson program or an intermediate rider who is well balanced and already confident at the w/t/c.
Misty was ridden western with a lot of trail riding in her past. We have started her over fences and she jumps cute. She would be ideal for a small adult or kid in a lesson program, Pony Club or 4H. Currently she is boarded at Silver Quarter Acres in Golden, CO. She is UTD on vaccinations, worming, teeth and hoof care. Will consider a trade for smaller pony 10.2-12.2h suitable for a 40lb beginner rider.
