Sonatta’s Indy Anna is a registered 3yr old Morgan mare standing at 14.2-14.3 hands tall, but with a nice chunky build. Indy comes out of the old foundation Morgan bloodlines that are becoming more rare and harder to find. We purchased Indy straight from the breeder so there are no unknowns with her you get her full history. Indy is a little trail machine she will go anywhere out on the trails and loves doing it too! Indy will ride off of your legs and seat. Knows how to stop off the seat. Will move her shoulders hindquarters and started on a little sidepass. She crosses creeks, bridges, logs, and goes right in the river. She is fine with wildlife out on the trail. She’s NOT easily spooked. She will occasionally look at the odd things beside the road, but that’s all she does is look. She will lead or follow riding with other horses. She’ll leave home alone fine. She rides with a doggy sidekick running up behind her and popping in and out beside her. She loads and hauls good and backs right out of the trailer. She’s good with traffic we actually took her out riding on July 4th and had lots of side by sides and vehicles go by her and she was good with it all. She’s friendly and easy to catch. She gets along in the herd she’s middle of the pecking order. She’s an easy keeper NO maintenance required. She has good ground manners. She stands good for tacking and getting on. She’s been used to pony and has also been ponied. Picks up her feet good. Fly sprays and hoses down well. She has smooth gaits. Her canter is very smooth to sit to and her trot is easy to post to. She’s your typical Morgan she is not a deadhead but she is NOT hot either. She’s right in between at a happy medium. That’s part of why I love the Morgan breed so well I like a level headed horse that can cover some ground when I want to go long miles and can do it with ease. I also just love how smart, willing, and versatile they are and very people oriented. Indy was started under harness this spring and had 30-60 days under harness with only a handful of drives down the road. So she is started under harness if someone wanted to finish that out with her she already has a start and just needs a refresher to go in that direction again. Indy does have an old wound from getting caught in a fence as a baby. It doesn’t affect her at all. We have NEVER had any issues with her at all medically she’s been as healthy as a horse. I’ve taken her out on 10-15 mile trail rides and she handles it great and is fine to go again the next day. Indy comes up to date on farrier, vaccines, dewormings, and I have a vet scheduled to come and do coggins and a basic check up. Just call if interested two three one 6707101
