Maddy is a stunning mare with an equally beautiful disposition! Easy to handle, excellent ground manners, kind and gentle. Flawless to catch, tie, clip, bathe, tack, and stands for the farrier.

Excellent trail horse. 100% confident solo. Strong walk, rides on a loose rein. Also has experience in large group rides and chaotic riding environments. Crosses water and bridges, covers rough ground easily, rides in the timber, traversing deadfall smoothly.

Maddy will w/t/c in the arena. She has a good whoa, side passes, leg yields, disengages hindquarters. Her athleticism and willingness makes her a candidate for a variety of performance disciplines including ranch riding, roping, team sorting, or even gaming.

She has been ridden by youth riders as young as 8 years old and is currently being ridden weekly by 12 and 14 year old girls. She is best suited for an ambitious rider who enjoys to spend time with their horse, as she loves the attention and thrives on daily interaction. This mare has no vices. She is safe, sound and ready to enjoy. Current owner (mare’s third lifetime owner) only considering rehoming due to health reasons.
