WATCH HIS FULL VIDEO!! Stetson is a 14 year old AQHA 15.2 hand bay gelding. He was bred and raised by the woman that I got him from so he has not been passed around. They trail rode, gave lessons, and ran barrels on him. She only let him go because she was focusing on raising race bred colts and he has been sitting. We have put him through the paces and he is sweet and gentle as they come! We haven’t found a hole in this guy and he will ride bareback, bridleless, and double just as well as all tacked up. Stetson is safe in all situations and is just up for whatever the day has in store. I have used him to start colts, ride through town, water, lessons, etc. He also knows barrels and has been roped off of to some extent but it’s been several years so if that is your desire, he will need a tune up. Stetson knows who is on him him and will go from a total babysitter to a handy ride in an instant. My son is 5 and he is wonderful with him both on the ground and under saddle (or bareback) but he has decided he only wants to ride his pony now. Stetson also is more whoa than go so he will not get out of a walk with him. With an experienced rider he will move out with ease even bareback and barefoot. He’s very easy to handle at all gaits and will always go where he is asked to. He is great for the farrier and does well barefoot or shod. Stetson is super in your pocket and hard NOT to catch. He loves his people more than his horsie friends even. We love this sweet boy and know you will too 💕
