Nova is looking for her person.
If you have been around horses long enough, you know sometimes some people and some horses just don’t connect.
As much as I hate to do this, Nova needs to find that person she can connect to. I have tried and it just isn’t in the cards for us. She has the sweetest personality and will come running to the gate for a bucket of goodies and some scratches.
However once I get in the saddle, she just doesn’t care to much about listening to me. And yes it is a me thing and not her being a pissy mare. I have attached videos of her being ridden by someone else. So the connection is possible.
With all that being said…. Nova is 11-15 years old. Agreed upon by 3 different vets. Not papered.

Needs wedged front shoes, standard back shoes
(VERY soft feet)
May need maintenance injections (in waiting period for 60 day follow up with vet, will have more info in 3 weeks to whether she will still need them)
Has pulled back and run back to pasture when she got scared two times
