Jasper is a 7-year-old BLM Mustang gelding looking for an experienced, confident home. This is a difficult decision, but with work, family commitments, and limited time, I can’t give him the consistency he deserves.

Jasper is halter broke, easy to catch, and loads into a trailer. He stands well for the farrier on his front feet but will not let him touch the hind legs. I have been able to pick up all four hooves after working with him, but he does not seem to allow anyone else

When I purchased Jasper, I was told he had previously been started under saddle. However, he had not been handled for about a year before I bought him. Due to my own circumstances, I have not been able to continue his training or get on him myself, so he is being sold as a project for an experienced horse person. I have done ground work and desensitizing with him. I have had a saddle on him but that is as far as we have gotten.

Jasper is not a beginner horse and is not suitable for inexperienced riders. He needs someone who is patient, knowledgeable, and willing to continue building his confidence and training. He is not suitable for children.
